Electro Plus is a locally owned and operated electrical company with branches in New Plymouth and Palmerston North – servicing the Taranaki, Whanganui and Manawatu regions.

Started in 2016 by husband and wife team, Shane Read and Hayley White, Electro Plus is a family business, centred on approachable, friendly and professional service, delivered by an expert team.

With 25 years’ experience in the electrical industry, Shane started his career as an electrician on rigs across the globe. With the addition of a young family, Shane left the rig life behind and together with Hayley, started their own business in New Plymouth. As well as keeping busy with their three children, Hayley ensures the smooth running of the office, taking care of the accounts, HR, and marketing.

Over the last seven years, Hayley and Shane have built a strong and reputable team of Master Electricians. They are now one of the leading electrical contractors serving the Taranaki, Whanganui, and Manawatu regions.

Our personal service and professionalism is extremely important to us. From the initial phone call or email, during the design process, right through to high-quality completion and on-going maintenance, our team of experienced project managers and Master Electricians provide professional advice using open and transparent communication.
